I haven’t been coding as much recently (writing blog posts, doing user interviews etc.) and I found that I have many premium requests on Cursor that will be expiring in the upcoming month. So I went ahead and cancelled my subscription.

So they’ve done something smart where:

• upon a subscription cancellation, they automatically send an the email asking for feedback with an offer to refund
• the user would probably ask for a refund, but in the process give some feedback
• the refund was triggered very quickly (see timestamps)
