  • I remember playing with ElevenLabs’ API and being kneecapped by their “safety” feature, when you gotta say something arbitrary to prove you “own” the voice. Which is fine in theory, except the minute differences in how you record the voice vs how you say their arbitrary safe words could lead to permanent failure
  • An open empirical question is whether all these AI models will eventually be commoditized (which is scary if you think they’ll get scary good)

  • I always found it annoying that both Cursor’s and GitHub Copilot’s code is closed source, which meant I don’t really have a reference implementation for how an agentic system is implemented
  • I want to build a proper agentic system next
